Great wallet been loving it!

Was really impressed with both the service and the final product. Never had to wonder where I was on the timeline since he reached out first and provided updates. Was really thorough and answered all my questions throughout the process, and was able to reflect everything discussed and transform it into wallet.

This wallet has the softest leather I’ve ever felt before. The stitching is immaculate, the colors chosen by Matzuto look amazing, and overall I’m very happy with my purchase. I’ve even gotten compliments about it! The prices are high, but quality costs what it costs. This isn’t a $20 Amazon wallet that will fall apart after 6 months. I will be coming back for Christmas gifts for my family. Thanks!

Matzuto was fantastic to deal with - helping me through the design process, providing great suggestions and advice and accommodating my requests. The end result is a beautiful product. If you're considering buying something from a brand name leathergoods maker (Mulberry, Coach, Osprey London, etc) - consider going this route instead. You get a product that is much higher quality than many of these brands at a very reasonable price, and made by an independent craftsman. It's a pleasure to be able to support someone who you can tell cares about their work.

I had quite specific requirements for a wallet (slim design with a compartment for coins) and Matzuto made a beautiful piece out of lizard skin and goat skin. The design was elegant but what blew me away was how he fashioned the coin pocket without compromising the thickness of the wallet. We stayed in close communication throughout the process and he's nailed the brief perfectly. Matzuto's a true artisan. Highly recommend!

Process was thorough and satisfying. From idea to creation. Was consulted on my needs and wants for the commission, then choosing the correct hides. Lastly every step of the process was followed with updates. Very happy with the finished project.
